This sentry box is one of the hardly ever visited places of Cudillero and not everybody knows it. It was used during the Civil War for surveillance. It could comunicate with other sentrys of the cost through light signals. It is surrounded by cliffs where two beaches can be found: Pumarín and Ribera L’Ouca. The access is in the village Santa Marina.
